🎤 THE PARABLE OF THE GARDEN

By Obed Yadzo

(Soft gospel rhythm or gentle keyboard pad playing in background)

🎙️ [Opening Tone – Calm, Reflective]

(Pause – smiling to audience)

When a man plants a garden...

He does not stand over the seed and shout—

(mock serious tone)

“By tomorrow, I want mangoes!”

(Smile, look around playfully)

No… he kneels...

He waters...

He waits.

(Gentle nod – soft voice)

He believes that what is unseen beneath the soil

Is working silently under the grace of God.

🎵 (Soft pad continues – light humor tone)

Don’t bother if there’s no music.

🎙️ [Shift tone – teaching rhythm, slow clap timing]

He waters, he waits, he kneels to pray,

Believing grace works in a hidden way.

Some people pray for marriage in the morning,

And want wedding invitations by evening!

(Audience laughter – lean in with smile)

Even God took six days to make the world—

And He rested on the seventh.

(Pause)

Some of you must rest too…

Not to rush!

(Laughter – gesture “slow down” with hands)

🎙️ [Warm, narrative tone]

That is how love must grow.

That is how relationship must live.

Love is not fast food;

It is slow-cooked by faith.

It is patience marinated in purpose.

(Slow rhythm – one hand raised as if preaching)

Love is not fast food served on demand,

It’s faith slow-cooked by a patient hand.

🎙️ [Soft background – thoughtful tone]

Two hearts are like two seeds.

They do not bear fruit on the first day.

They need watering, care, and pruning.

(Smile – slight pause)

Two hearts like seeds beneath the rain,

Bloom best through sunshine, loss, and pain.

Because even roses have thorns…

But wise gardeners do not quit gardening because of the sting.

(Smile gently, tilt head)

They say, “Lord, thank You for the thorn—

It keeps my garden humble.”

(Audience laughter, nod knowingly)

Even roses bleed where beauty lies,

Yet thorns protect what never dies.

🎙️ [Shift tone – thoughtful, slightly didactic]

Public Relations teaches how to manage image.

But Personal Relations teaches how to manage hearts.

Every good marriage has a press release called Truth,

A media strategy called Understanding,

And a reputation policy called Forgiveness.

(Pause – softer tone)

No brand survives when truth is gone,

Forgiveness keeps the name still strong.

🎙️ [Low tone – emotional emphasis]

When storms rise—and rise they will

Do not abandon your garden.

Because no brand survives without crisis management,

And no marriage stands without grace.

(Lift tone slightly – hopeful rhythm)

If storms arise and tempests rage,

Let grace rewrite your garden page.

Some people change partners like they change logos…

(Light laughter tone)

But loyalty, not design, keeps the name strong.

🎙️ [Comic rhythm – storytelling tone]

Adam blamed Eve,

Eve blamed the serpent,

And the serpent had no lawyer!

(Laughter – pause for audience reaction)

That’s how family crisis began.

(Smile – small pause)

But thank God—grace came with Jesus,

And the garden was reopened!

🎙️ [Lift tone – passionate gospel rhythm]

Jesus told stories to make truth walk among men.

He spoke in parables,

So that faith could grow where laughter lives.

So here is a story for the heart:

Love is not a show, it is a service.

Relationship is not a campaign, it is a calling.

Marriage is not the end of communication

It is the beginning of holy partnership.

🎙️ [Tone – instructive yet tender]

So build your bond like a good PR team from Heaven:

Listen before you speak.

Respond, do not react.

Be transparent, not tricky.

Protect each other’s name like a brand that must never lose value.

Renew your message every morning with prayer and purpose.

(Pause – humor returns, gentle smile)

If your partner forgets to say “I love you,”

Do not call a press conference!

Water your garden—do not burn the farm.

🎙️ [Soft outro rhythm – calm sincerity]

This is what Pure-Servant calls Carino Patience.

Lilbed will drive your mind to spark old-fashioned novas,

To earn an award for a successful marriage.

(Cheerful tone)

I don’t care who don’t care!

(Laughs – audience soft applause)

When laughter fades, let joy remain.

When flowers fall, let roots hold.

When emotions rest, let covenant speak.

(Gentle rhythm – spoken slower)

When flowers fade and laughter flies,

Let roots of covenant still rise.

Because a true relationship tells a story

That the world believes,

And Heaven approves.

(Step back slowly – gaze upward)

May your love be a garden that grows,

Not a billboard that fades.

🎵 (Soft music fades out)

🎙️ Voice-over (calm):
